Gavin has more than 25 years’ experience in mortgage advice and financial services, helping first-time buyers, home movers, landlords, self-employed clients, company directors and clients with more complex mortgage requirements.
Gavin Carley is Director of Mortgages and Business Development at The Residential Mortgage Hub and has more than 25 years experience in mortgages and financial services, providing mortgage advice to clients across Reading, Oxford and the surrounding areas.
Gavin began his mortgage career in 2001 and has worked with a number of major financial services and property businesses, including Alliance & Leicester, Britannia, Countrywide and Romans/LRG. Over that time, he has advised clients through very different mortgage markets and has experience across both straightforward and more complex mortgage cases.
Today, Gavin advises first-time buyers, home movers, existing homeowners and property investors, as well as self-employed clients, company directors and people whose income or circumstances may not fit standard high-street lending criteria.
He holds the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) and Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA). His approach is to understand a client’s overall circumstances before researching the mortgage market and identifying an appropriate solution.
